CONTORTED DA • Academic Quality Assurance • Bergen, Norway

1. Commitment to Scientific Quality

CONTORTED DA (Org. nr: 937 299 524, Bergen, Norway) is dedicated to delivering empirical, peer-reviewed acoustic research publications and dependable computational tools. We maintain strict quality standards to ensure our data and methodologies provide genuine value to the international audio engineering community.

2. Digital Resource Access & Replacement Guarantee

Because our primary outputs are digital research papers, algorithmic documentation, and downloadable analytical reports:

  • File Integrity & Replacement: If a downloaded research document, PDF monograph, or calculation dataset is corrupted, incomplete, or fails to render properly, we provide immediate, free replacement access upon notification.
  • Open-Access Content: All open-access monographs and online calculation tools are accessible free of charge and do not require refund or return mechanisms.

3. Commissioned Consultative Reports

For tailored studio acoustic modeling or archival preservation assessments commissioned under a formal agreement:

  • Technical Review Period: Clients receive a standard fourteen (14) day technical review window following report delivery to submit questions or request clarifying computational adjustments based on the initial project scope.
  • Dispute Resolution: If an acoustic report contains demonstrable mathematical discrepancies relative to standard ISO/AES formulas, our engineering team will revise and reissue the report without additional charge.

4. Statutory Consumer Rights (Angrerettloven)

Where individual consumers enter into contracts for digital services under Norwegian legislation (Lov om opplysningsplikt og angrerett ved fjernsalg og salg utenom faste forretningslokaler / Angrerettloven), consumers hold a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. In accordance with Section 22 of the Act, for digital content delivered immediately with express prior consent, the right of withdrawal lapses upon commencement of direct digital download.

5. Requesting Support or Report Clarifications

To request file replacements, technical revisions, or to discuss access permissions, please submit your request along with your project reference to [email protected].
